#GOTOMYPC AND WINDOWS 10 UPGRADE#
The latest GoToMyPC upgrade resolves an issue identified after the release of Vista Service Pack 1. In addition to being able to easily upload files, GoToMyPC also includes a number of other helpful features, including password encryption, a virtual terminal, a built-in calendar, a mobile phone display, and a number of different tools which can be used to manage and organize one's files. GoToMyPC 6.1 includes additional support and stability for host PCs with Windows Vista. With these services, a user can easily upload a file to their GoToMyPC account, and from there they can pick which computer they'd like to copy it to. A great feature of GoToMyPC is that it integrates with many different programs such as Dropbox, MySpace, and others which can all allow a user to save files remotely. This powerful tool allows a user to quickly move between multiple computers, allowing them to stay connected wherever they are. The only thing they need for this process to work is a web browser, which works in conjunction with the remote computer to access files and configure settings on that machine.
They simply go to the GoToMyPC website, enter their log in information, pay for it, and then their computer is immediately hooked up to the server so they can begin working. They don't even have to download anything onto their computers in order to get the information they need. The way this works is simple: with a simple web browser, a user can connect to a PC on their network and automatically access files from any other PC or laptop with an internet connection. In fact, it's so easy that even those with less than a professional level of knowledge can do most of the work necessary to keep their computer running smoothly. This makes it extremely easy to move between different computers, especially with shared workstations or homes. GoToMyPC offers PCs, laptops, and compatible smart phones the ability to access their computers remotely via a simple web browser.
